1. Women’s Pavillion 2021
Women’s Pavillion 2021 architecture competition organized by Volume Zero was launched on August 28th, 2021 with a closing submission deadline on 22nd December 2021. The competition put forth the challenge of creating an architectural marvel that symbolizes the impact of women and their influence on our society. The space must integrate function, aesthetics, and structural ingenuity. It aims to promote architectural design as an instrument of social change.
2. Tiny House – Impact designs
Impact designs intend to provide a platform for the architects and innovators to come up with ideas and design concepts for the most relevant concerns of our planet with the intent of generating design-based conversations and solutions. Tiny House 2021 Architecture Competition looks forward to celebrating the concept of simple, yet resourceful living. The competition was launched on 4th September 2021, with a deadline approaching on 18th December 2021.
3. Microhome 2021 Architecture Competition
The third annual MICROHOME architecture competition is part of the Bee Breeders Small Scale Architecture Appreciation Movement. The competition puts forth and emphasizes the idea that “big isn’t always the better”. In this competition, participants are encouraged to be as creative as they could with the criteria of floor space not exceeding 25 m2. The registration for the same closes by 2nd November 2021 with a deadline approaching on 7th December 2021.
4. Arena – Open Air theatre Design Challenge
The competition challenge is to design an open air theatre on a cliff side with an occupancy of 500 people with the intention of serving a stage to various activities like drama, cinema, concerts, talk shows, etc. The registration for the competition closes by 22nd November 2021 with a submission deadline on 23rd November 2021.
5. Pearls of Green – Landscape Design competition
Hide and reveal is the essence of this concept and so the challenge for the competition is to design a park that is dedicated to the “Miegakure” form of garden design. This competition is open for both the students and professionals in the design field. Registration to participate in the competition will be closing on 1st Novemeber 2021, with a deadline to submit the design proposal on 2nd November 2021.
